1. DEFENCE
It is the prime duty of Government to maintain an independent well equipped strong defence force. It should be proportional in size to a realistic appraisal of OUR OWN National interests. I was against the war in Iraq as I do not believe it was founded on honest grounds. I am also opposed to the war in Afghanistan as I do not favour intervention in the governance or beliefs and values of other countries.

2. LAW AND ORDER
Zero tolerance policing has been proved to work and should be introduced and supported throughout the whole country. Prison places must be increased with the priority on educating the inmates in an austere environment – out go the TV’s and pool tables and in come the text books! The ID scheme should be scrapped as it is a complete waste of money and will not deter a single crime or terrorist attack.

3. FOREIGN AFFAIRS
Must be conducted for our own national interests. To that end we must leave all aspects of the EU’s political, economic and military control replacing this with a genuine free trade agreement which is what we thought we had signed up to in the first place. Other non EU countries trade with the EU on the same terms as us without any of the costs. Free of the EU we could negotiate our own world free trade agreements with an emphasis on our Commonwealth.

4. IMMIGRATION
On leaving the EU we would recover control of our borders. Then minded of our international obligations and duties to genuine asylum seekers I plan to put all illegal immigrants before the courts to be returned to the country of their origin or from which they entered the UK. This will not be easy but any other policy sends all the wrong signals to other potential illegal immigrants. I would also convict all employers who employ illegal immigrants and ensure our welfare system only supports our own nationals. I believe a Green Card system needs to be introduced matching immigrants to job vacancies. All immigrants settling in this country would need to accept our history, customs and values while learning our language. The practice of multinational government information papers would cease over a given limited time scale.

5. HEALTH AND EDUCATION
All government targets need to be scrapped and the medical and teaching staff need to be allowed to manage and control their own budgets within set national guidelines free of local authority interference. Hospital Directors and Head Teachers would be directly accountable for their performances based on annual inspections. Failure to perform as required would require remedial action.

6. GOVERNANCE
I’m pro the monarchy and now believe we must have an elected House of Lords. To get more independently minded MPs we need them selected through local primaries. Also when elected they would be required to be accountable through an open public declaration of accounts including salary and set allowances according to set criteria and limited day to day expenses if necessary. MPs and Peers should be drastically reduced to around 300 and 150 respectively and be subject to censor through a constituency system to challenge them while in office.
